Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas helps plant 500 new mangroves
The mangrove-planting initiative was held by the Pranburi River
Staff and executives from the Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas joined with local community members and the Office of Marine and Coastal Resources to plant 500 mangroves along the Pranburi River.
This impactful initiative underscores the resort’s commitment to environmental conservation and promoting sustainable tourism practices through the Wyndham Green Programme.
By planting mangroves, participants aim to enhance the local ecosystem, protect communities from river overflow or erosion, and support marine life habitats.
Venturing into sustainable operations
The Wyndham Green Programme is Wyndham Hotels and Resorts’ way of reducing the environmental footprints of individual hotels in order to operate more efficiently through eco-friendly initiatives.
The mangrove planting activity is one of many efforts by the Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas to align with this mission and meaningfully engage with the local community.
