Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (“Wyndham”) has signed an agreement to launch the first Wyndham Alltra in the region under a partnership with pioneering Vietnamese private yacht manufacturer, Alliga Eternity Company Limited (“Alliga”).
Named Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba, the 300-cabins superyacht resort will be the first project under the illustrious partnership of Wyndham and Alliga, with its expected opening to be in June 2026. In addition, the superyacht will boast 8 F&B outlets, a series of meeting rooms, swimming pool and gym, giving guests a full resort experience onboard. Named Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba, the 300-cabin superyacht resort will be docked in the sea off Cat Ba Island of Vietnam’s Halong Bay.
Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba offers the perfect destination for guests who are looking for unique views of Halong Bay. Guests can enjoy sparkling views of the bay without experiencing the usual sea sickness that comes with being on the water. They can also look forward to an itinerary of family friendly programmes onboard the stationary yacht.
Looking ahead, Wyndham will continue to explore potential properties to sign with Alliga. Already in the works, Alliga is also planning to build a second superyacht resort in Nha Trang, central coastal city of Vietnam, further highlighting its confidence and trust in Wyndham.
Cruising onboard the superyacht, guests can anticipate an itinerary of family-friendly programmes onboard overlooking the coasts of Halong Bay. Derived from the brand promise of ‘All-Inclusive Travel for All’, Wyndham Alltra is dedicated entirely to the fast-growing demand for all-inclusive resort experiences, and will offer upscale services, amenities, and activities with an expressive local flavor at exceptional value.
According to Vietnam Express International, Vietnam’s total tourism revenue was US$16.5 billion. Having received 3.6 million foreign tourists since reopening its borders on 15 March 2022, Vietnam’s inbound tourism is gradually on the uptick, and on track to meet its target of 8 million visitors in 2023.
“We are extremely glad to have found a valuable partner in Wyndham to share our like-minded goals and objectives. With this being our first superyacht project, it is a logical choice to tap on Wyndham’s expertise and market experience to embark on this new chapter to cater to more guests – both locals and tourists alike,” said Chairman of Alliga Eternity Company Limited, Bùi Viết Quân.
“Vietnam has been and will be a key strategic market for Wyndham in the coming years, especially as its tourism sector continues picking up. By signing this milestone project with Alliga, we are reinforcing our commitment to deliver sustainable growth of new brands in the market, coupled with innovative concepts and offerings. Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will be our first stationary superyacht in Asia Pacific and will join our existing Vietnam portfolio of 15 hotels across varying brands. We are looking forward to working with Alliga, to continue bringing our signature ‘Count on Me’ service to a wider range of guests,” said Senior Director, Development, South East Asia & Pacific for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Eudo Chan.
