Wizz Air launches special flights to the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany
Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest growing and most environmentally sustainable airline globally has announced that it will operate special flights for England football fans to the European Football Championship matches in Germany. The special flights will also take the fans home after the matches.
The airline will operate the first flight from London Luton to Dortmund on 16th June for the game against Serbia, hosted in Gelsenkirchen. Another flight will depart to Frankfurt on 20th June for the match against Denmark. The final special flight will depart on 25th June for the match in Cologne against Slovenia. Football fans who would like to support the national team on location can buy their fixed-price tickets today via the Wizz Air website and the airline’s mobile application.
Zsuzsa Trubek, Communications Manager of Wizz Air said: “We’re delighted to support the fans of the England team by getting them to 2024 European Championship matches, so they’ll be able to see their favourites in person and cheer them on. The flight schedules have been specifically adapted to the dates of the matches, making it easier for fans to travel to and from the games.”
