Wendy Wu has launched its largest collection of holidays to China, Southeast Asia and India for 2018/2019.
In conjunction with the launch, the operator is offering agents a business class upgrade from £99 per person (one way) for customers on selected departures in 2018 when booked before 30 September 2017.
Highlights of the Southeast Asia collection include the 16-day Best of Borneo holiday (from £3,990pp) and the 23-day Majestic Mekong (from £6,490pp) which includes a luxury two-night cruise on Halong Bay, a seven-night boutique Mekong River cruise and guided Angkor Temple masterclass in Siem Reap.
With the launch of the Immerse Yourself collection of holidays, the operator offers cultural experiences, active adventures and off the beaten track travel to China, Southeast Asia, India and Japan.
In conjunction with the launch, the business class upgrade applies to agents who sell these holidays.
John Warr, deputy managing director, said: “We’ve listened to our agents and customers who have told us that they want holidays full of cultural immersion, active adventures and the ability to discover those rare destinations that are off the beaten track. This is exactly why we’ve launched Immerse Yourself, and what’s more agents can book everything online on our dedicated agents’ website.”
Examples of experiences include a four-wheel drive through the sand dunes of The Gobi Desert, hiking to see sunrise over the Himalayas, cycling in Udaipur, exploring Saigon on a Vespa and meditating with a Taoist priest on Weibaoshan mountain.
