In support of members who are taking some of their wellness offerings online to help housebound consumers in these challenging times, the Wellness Tourism Association (WTA) has launched Healthy@Home.
Whether consumers are looking to maintain or enhance their mental and physical health, or take the first step on the path to a wellness-lifestyle, members of the Wellness Tourism Association are here to help with online yoga sessions, remote one-on-one consultations, webinars, healthy tips and advice, recipes and other offerings easily accessible through online platforms.
WTA president and CEO, Anne Dimon, says, “In this time of adversity, and with public health officials calling for calm, and encouraging all non-essential workers to stay at home, we are doing our small part to bring many of the offerings one might experience under the umbrella of Wellness Travel directly to those who are physical distancing but are still looking to be social. And, yes, with so many online options now available, we can still be healthfully social.”
With this new consumer-facing initiative, the WTA’s goal is to do something positive to help anyone needing inspiration and advice, along with words and moments of wellness in these challenging times. The time to travel will come again, and when that happens the WTA will be here for all, but in the meantime there is Healthy@Home.
