Web in Travel (WiT), the global news and events platform focused on travel technology, has released the program and speakers for its WiT Singapore Conference, which takes place in the city’s prestigious Marina Bay Sands resort from October 2-4, 2023.
The event, themed The Human Revolution, will focus on the scale of change within the travel industry today and the ongoing evolution of artificial intelligence (AI). The event will focus on how humans and machines can work together to bring personal, authentic and imaginative experiences to travellers, and how humans need to push the capabilities of technology, rather than the other way around.
“The travel industry has seen change on an unimaginable scale since the pandemic,” said Dewi Ishak, Events Manager, Web in Travel. “The prevalence and evolution of technology is happening so fast that we as humans risk being left behind if we don’t leverage these developments. This year’s WiT Singapore will be particularly exciting as it’ll explore how we can work together with machines, fusing our own capabilities with technology for the greater good of travel.”
The WiT program promises to delve deeper into pressing topics, such as the tech trends getting travel leaders excited and terrified in equal measure, the “human” versus machine element of travel, and the role of technology and data in the green revolution. Delegates will hear from top-level speakers at the likes of Airbnb, Agoda, Sabre, Expedia, JetBlue, Wego, Pan Pacific Hotel Group, and many more.
