Warner Bros Studio Tour is coming to Japan
It’s official – Warner Bros Studio Tour is coming to Japan! As part of the brand’s expansion into the APAC region, Warner Bros. Studio Tour’s Head of Business Development for London and Hollywood, Sophie Harvard-Williams, is at this year’s Arival Activate event in June in Bangkok.
Of this summer’s upcoming launch in Japan, Harvard-Williams shared: “Our big focus right now is the opening of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter this summer. The Studio Tour will be the first of its kind in Asia and give fans the chance to step into spellbinding sets, see authentic costumes and come face to face with magical creatures from the Harry Potter films.”
“Continuously exceeding customer expectation is the most important part of what we do – we want to make sure the customers leave having had the wow factor. Especially at a time now where people are [increasingly] seeking magical moments.”
And on the future, Harvard-Williams commented: “After Tokyo, we will make more decisions about where we go from there. The international market is a very important part of what we do.”
Arival’s CEO and co-founder Douglas Quinby added: “The Asia Pacific (APAC) region is seeing a surge of renewed interest in travel and tourism. Driven by experience-hungry Gen Z, travelers are spending more, and are valuing unique, immersive experiences over things. Warner Bros is a solid example of a company that is seizing this huge opportunity to tap into the appetite of Asian consumers and their desire for state-of-the-art in-destination experiences.”
