Virgin Hotels breaks new ground as it arrives in Europe with its first property in Edinburgh set to open in 2020.
As an avid fan of the Virgin brand, I’m excited to announce the rollout of another branch of Virgin Hotels.
According to its billionaire (and in my opinion, genius) founder, Sir Richard Branson, the latest Virgin hotel will be located in Edinburgh’s old town, just a few steps from two of the city’s iconic attractions – Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.
The new hotel promises to offer a distinctive and dynamic addition to the already extraordinary city. It will be housed in the India Buildings at Victoria Street, which dates back to the 1860’s. It has 225 suites, multiple dining areas, beverage venues and social areas for those in the mood to mingle.
Watch the short video below showing the brilliance of the brand.
Virgin Hotels opened its first hotel in Chicago in 2015 and has hotels in San Francisco, Nashville, Dallas, and New York City already under construction. It plans to open hotels in New Orleans, Silicon Valley, and Palm Springs as well.
All properties of the brand, as per usual, will intermix a passion for food and beverage, music and culture, and providing a vibrant and inclusive environment for travellers and locals alike.
Virgin Hotels is proud to offer free Wi-Fi without bandwidth restrictions, no cancellation fees, no penalties for early check-ins or late check-outs, and a daily social hour for its guests.
Virgin plans to open more hotels around the world with its trademark of fun, comfort, and superior service.
