Village Hotel Sentosa reopens in Singapore
Village Hotel Sentosa (VHS) by Far East Hospitality reopens officially with new and exciting experiences for families like mini hotelier, aqua Zumba and more.
To celebrate their reopening, VHS is launching a Village Playcation package that will allow guests to experience the hotel’s new offerings including a two-night stay in a Family Room, choice of one mini hotelier experience, unlimited access to Playtivities and more.
An unrivalled experience tailored for young travellers to welcome the little ones, the hotel is unveiling a warm village welcome at the lobby, where children will be greeted with scrumptious treats and fun activities. Step back in time at the Village Cart, which offers guests a glimpse into every Singaporean’s childhood. Boasting a wide variety of sweets and biscuits such as Khong Guan biscuits, muruku, haw flakes and White Rabbit candy, guests can look forward to indulging in a taste of the ‘80s with these old-school snacks. Other notable highlights include a balloon sculpting booth; free flow ice cream and popcorn; as well as meet and greet sessions with the hotel’s adorable mascots – Village Explorers: Vin and Vee.
The Mini Chef experience, offered in partnership with Doughworks by Commonwealth Concepts, aims to use culinary arts as a medium to achieve a combination of instructional, experiential and educational learning. Children will be immersed in fun and fully interactive activities like decorating their own cupcakes and cookies, while learning how to identify the different kitchen equipment used for cooking and baking, as well as the different ingredients used in preparing their bakes. Children who love nature and being outdoors will enjoy the Mini Gardener experience, which will allow them to either create a botanical pouch or engage in a potting activity.
In a host of fun-filled activities In addition to the new experiences, VHS will also offer a host of fun-filled activities that are bound to keep the entire family engaged and entertained during their stay. From family aqua zumba to movie screening, resin art, sand art and pilates for kids, the options are endless. For those keen on exploring Sentosa, they can sign up for the family scavenger hunt, which will take guests to places around the island including Sentosa Nature Discovery and Imbiah Trail. Guests who prefer to stay in the hotel, they can look forward to a fun-filled time at the pool deck, offering different themed pool zones, lush gardens and outdoor spaces that have been designed for rest.
