Vietjet opens first in-town ticket office
Low-cost carrier has unveiled its first ticket office to provide city check-in service. From now on, customers of the airline and Swift247, a technology startup providing super express air delivery service, will be able to use city check-in service as well as other outstanding utilities at 60A Truong Son, Ward 2, Tan Binh District in Ho Chi Minh City at any time.
Passengers can buy add-on services and get their boarding passes after completing the check-in procedure. Checked baggage will be received and baggage tags will be issued from 1 November. Being hands-free of bulky luggage and long queues at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Vietjet’s passengers can enjoy experiencing Menas Mall, HDBank’s digital banking services and other surrounding utilities.
The new modern ticket office and Vietjet Plaza service complex are equipped with digital screen to inform schedule of all Vietjet’s flights. Thereby, passengers using free city check-in service can be proactive in time before going directly to the airport security checking to enter the boarding area. In addition, Vietjet provides a free shuttle bus to pick up passengers from the ticket office straight to the airport in every 15 minutes.
City check-in is the next modern model applied by the new-age carrier and is expected to be replicated massively in the near future. The new ticket office with city check-in service is expected to help reduce the overload at airport check-in counters, especially at Tan Son Nhat airport, bringing benefits not only for passengers but also for ground service companies, airport security, cargo, shipping units, etc.
