Foreign ministries of the UAE and Principality of Andorra recently inked two initial memoranda of understanding (MoU) on bilateral consultations and joint cooperation in tourism.
The MoUs were signed on behalf of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, foreign minister, by UAE non-resident ambassador to Andorra Dr Hisa Abdullah Al Otaiba, and Andorran foreign minister Gilbert Saboya i Suny, at the UAE Embassy premises in Madrid.
Dr Al Otaiba said bilateral relations had seen notable progress since two countries established diplomatic ties in 2010. She added that officials had reciprocated visits and several cooperation agreements were signed including a MoE between Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its Andorran counterpart.
