TripAdvisor has introduced a new photo tool that aims to allow accommodation providers to combine their best images with their top reviews.
The new “Storyboard” feature replaces static photos on a property’s listing page. Combining the best images, review snippets and tags from an accommodation’s page, the feature is designed to generate more interest from TripAdvisor users.
It is available to accommodation providers that subscribe to TripAdvisor’s premium “Business Advantage Preferred Access” service.
“We want to enable lodging owners and managers to tell their stories their way with Storyboard,” said Robin Ingle, senior vice president of global sales at TripAdvisor. “This new feature is a welcome addition to Business Advantage that helps hoteliers to attract and engage potential guests, and provides useful information and stunning visuals to assist travellers with their booking decisions.”
The new service allows hoteliers to hand-select the best images for their page, and then showcase these images in a redesigned carousel feature. Business Advantage subscribers can also select a good review to place at the top of their page.
A new Analytics Suite also provides accommodation subscribers with competitor and marketplace data.
