Travelsupermarket announces partnership with Solmar Villas
TravelSupermarket, the leading package holiday comparison website, has partnered with villa holiday specialists, Solmar Villas, to introduce Solmar Villas’ portfolio of properties to TravelSupermarket’s existing audience. A major player in the short-term rental market, Solmar Villas features properties in many of Europe’s holiday hotspots and has recently added the USA to its offering.
The partnership has seen Solmar Villas seamlessly integrated into TravelSupermarket’s villa-focused webpages through the introduction of a special search tool. This innovative search function grants TravelSupermarket customers exclusive access to an extended catalogue of holiday homes curated by Solmar Villas.
The search widget, powered by the award-winning villa company, means more flexibility for TravelSupermarket customers, who will now have the option to browse either villa rental only or villas as a package holiday across TravelSupernarket’s portfolio. Solmar Villas currently features over 2000 villas across 30 destinations throughout the Mediterranean, Europe and the USA.
Ice Travel Group Sales Director, Stuart Barrett said: “At Ice Travel Group, we want to offer as many holiday types as possible and with villa holidays forever growing in popularity, we want to offer as much variety in destinations and properties as possible at the highest quality and the best prices. So this partnership with Solmar Villas is perfect. TravelSupermarket customers can then also purchase flights, transfers and car hire separately with us. It truly is a great match, and we are looking forward to growing our partnership with Solmar Villas as we move into 2024.”
Solmar Villas CEO, Julie Blake said:“We are delighted to be working with TravelSupermarket. Their travel expertise and customer base align perfectly with our business model and we see this new relationship having a great impact on both companies. The villa rental market is one that is flourishing at the moment and we both hope to capitalise on this in 2024.”
