Booking solutions developer Travelport and Eurasia Travel Network (ETN) announced the expansion of their long-term agreement today, 10th December.
Under the terms of this expanded agreement, ETN will tap into Travelport’s cutting-edge technology to create modern travel retailing experiences for its clients with enriched retail-ready travel content and AI-powered search enhancements.T
ETN managing director Nikos Bolias remarked that Travelport’s ability to normalize NDC content and deliver an intelligent search experience is exactly what his company needs to make it easy for their corporate and marine clients to shop and book the best travel options.
According to Bolias: “Travelport+ offers us direct access to multi-source travel content along with modern travel retailing tools that will support our growth and reach across the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia.”
A necessary integration
ETN’s integration of Travelport’s end-to-end NDC solution will expand the flight options available to the agency’s clients with a single connection to normalized, retail-ready air content.
The Cyprus-headquartered corporate and marine agency is expected to use the latest Travelport+ features to modernize the travel retailing experience for ETN clients with faster, more intelligent trip searches driven by Travelport’s AI-powered Content Curation Layer.
Travelport vice-president for agency sales in EMEA Fred Lindgren said: “Travelport is focused on delivering more choice and greater value to ETN by making it easy for agents to search, compare and identify the best offers for travelers when booking their trips.
