Travel 2 has announced a partnership deal with Wendy Wu Tours to increase its collection of tours across the Far East.
For the first time, Wendy Wu Tours, a company that specialises in Asian tours, is giving agents the opportunity to access its comprehensive tour products via a wholesaler, boosting Travel 2’s offerings across the region. Wendy Wu will now become Travel 2’s preferred partner for Japan and China tours.
“Agents will love being able to offer their clients some truly exceptional packages”
Lisa McAuley, managing director at Wendy Wu, said: “Wendy Wu is recognised across our industry as a leading name in Asia – something it has in common with Travel 2.
“Touring is a particular focus for us going forward and Wendy Wu has some exceptional products that really have a ‘wow’ factor. The product on the ground is second to none, so it is a great coup for us to be able to add it to our range. I am sure agents will love being able to offer their clients some truly exceptional packages incorporating these authentic tours.”
The deal is part of ongoing efforts by Travel 2 to underline its strength in the touring market.
Highlights of Travel 2’s new tours in partnership with Wendy Wu include a 14-day Chile ‘Top to Toe’ tour that takes guests from the Atacama and altiplano of the north to the mountains and glaciers of Patagonia in the south; a 9-day ‘A China Experience’ tour that offers a tour of Xian, Beijing and Shanghai; and a 10-day ‘Jewels of Japan’ tour which highlights the best of Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Kyoto.
Commenting on the partnership, John Warr, global sales director at Wendy Wu, said: “We are delighted to be Travel 2’s preferred travel partner for China and Japan. Travel 2 have an exceptionally strong reputation in the industry and as such are a natural partner for Wendy Wu.
“We look forward to working closely with the team to expand our reach of holidays across Travel 2’s extensive network of independent agents and are already seeing new bookings coming in.”
