Travel cashback app azgo hits growth targets
Since its launch, azgo cashback app amassed over 250,000 users across key markets
Asian travel cashback app azgo reports that it has already hit its ambitious growth targets for the year.
This is a feat in itself as azgo was launched in February of this year
Since its launch, however, the azgo cashback app amassed over 250,000 users across key markets, including China, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Likewise, azgo generated over US$2.4 million in gross merchandise value (GMV,) reflecting a fast growth trajectory of close to 620 percent growth month on month.
azgo’s Singapore country head Yan Yuan Sng said: “Our commitment to revolutionising the travel experience through our AI-driven platform and innovative solutions have resonated well with travellers and merchants throughout the region, exceeding our initial expectations. This spectacular growth is testament to the capabilities of our team, made up of leading industry experts, who have a unified mission to deliver unparalleled value to our customers and partners.”
Filling a gap
Azgo’s rapid growth demonstrates that not only has there been a gap in the market that azgo is now filling for both consumers and merchants, but that the industry is ready for new disruptors and ripe for change.
Backed by an experienced team of leaders committed to providing a seamless and rewarding travel experience with its innovative solutions, azgo symbolises the rapid-fire evolution occurring within the travel tech industry.
Changes drive growth
The cashback app’s rapid growth was driven by several factors, mostly changes it initiated which are also driving change within the travel app sector.
Accelerated reward pay-outs to its customers in just seven days is one. For context, the current industry standard for rewards payment runs between 60 to 90 days upon fulfilment of booking. azgo, however, aims to set a new standard: just one to three working days from the time a customer uploads proof of fulfilment. This feature is currently available with select merchants and will soon gain wider availability.
App developers also leveraged AI to speed up validation of cashback from best deals and offerings from a network of established travel partners. These include Booking.com, Agoda, Creatory by MoneyHero Group, and Pelago by Singapore Airlines.
azgo also introduced a mobile-first platform for travel bookings that responds to each customer query within 30 minutes with personalised responses during its customer service operating hours, instead of relying on automated responses.
