Tourism Nova Scotia and WestJet Taxi deliver ‘lobster-licious’ lunch
In a unique destination promotion campaign, Tourism Nova Scotia and WestJet branded taxi zoomed all around London dropping world-known Nova Scotia inspired lobster rolls and cookies off to targeted media and tour operator partners.
During the hottest week on British record, Nida Kapadia, senior account manager for Tourism Nova Scotia and Sean McCafferty, key account manager for WestJet jumped into one of the 14 branded taxi’s and hand delivered lobster lunch offerings and sweet treats all over the capital city.
Nova Scotia lobster is world renowned but it wasn’t just yummy crustaceans and cookies on the menu. The duo delivered destination key selling points, tourism brochures and information on the direct WestJet routes from the UK to Halifax to front line sales staff, product managers and media news desks.
For the next six months, 14 Nova Scotia branded taxis will hit the roads in and around London. Incorporating branded tip seats, receipts and videos – the brand awareness campaign showcases Nova Scotia’s diverse tourism offering spanning outdoor adventure, cultural travel and outstanding gastronomy.
Boasting 8,264 miles of coastline and five UNESCO sites, Nova Scotia attracts a broad range of visitors through its superb wildlife-watching, hiking and cycling offering, great museums, wineries and burgeoning events calendar.
