Tourism Authority of Thailand teams up with The Extraordinary Travel Festival
Thailand’s tourism authority will be one of the event’s top sponsors
The organisers behind The Extraordinary Travel Festival (ETF) announced a new partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) which joins the event as its top sponsor.
TAT will be hosting a gala dinner with a Thai cultural show for all participants in conjunction with the five-star Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit.
Nithee Seeprae, TAT deputy governor for marketing communication, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership.
He said: “Our country offers a tapestry of experiences that cater to all types of travelers, from bustling cityscapes to serene beaches and rich cultural heritage. Through our ‘Amazing Thailand Your Stories Never End’ concept, we invite the attendees and their audiences to create their own unforgettable stories in our beautiful country. This partnership allows us to connect with influential travelers who can inspire others to discover the hidden gems of Thailand.”
ETF organisers are excited to showcase Thailand to the world’s most seasoned travellers who will make their way to the country for the event which will be held in Bangkok from 15 to 17 November 2024.
According to festival creator and award-winning travel photographer and filmmaker Ric Gazarian: “Our intention with creating this event was to strengthen this incredible community of mega-travelers by bringing us together in one place, while sharing strategies for advising and inspiring the travel fans who follow us. Many of us explore the world as solo travelers, but we are far from alone in wanting to spread the word about the eye-opening power of going further in our travels, farther, and more often.”
What to expect at this year’s ETF
The Bangkok run of the ETF is slated to host more than 30 speakers who will engage, inform, and inspire their fellow attendees through a combination of keynotes, breakout sessions, and panels.
Gazarian said of this: “Imagine the world’s modern-day Marco Polos gathered in a single location. The energy, enthusiasm and vast knowledge exchanged about travel and country-collecting at the first event was like nothing I’ve seen before.”
Speakers and attendees will share insights on strategies to visit all 193 of the world’s sovereign countries, a feat accomplished by fewer than 400 known people living today. The festival will also welcome explorers who have other ambitions and motivations for seeing more of the world.
