The operator of bus services to and from Tokyo’s Narita Airport and Tokyo Disneyland is taking steps to cater for international travellers.
Keisei Bus is now offering signage in multiple languages, both onboard its vehicles and at bus stops, plus a series of other multi-lingual services.
All the company’s bus stops (about 2,000 in total) now have signage in English, while major stops – including those on the routes to the airport and Disneyland – also have signage in Chinese and Korean.
Onboard the buses, free Wi-Fi is now available in six languages – Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Thai and Portuguese – and the company’s entire website has been translated into English, Chinese and Korean.
Finally, Keisei Bus is urging its drivers to learn English, or use smartphones equipped with translation apps.
