Vietjet has announced the launch of its new Hanoi – Tokyo (Narita, Japan) service with a special promotion on flights to a choice selection of some the airlines more popular destinations this week.
The new route is Vietjet’s third to Japan and comes following the successful introduction of operations to Hanoi-Osaka and Ho Chi Minh City-Osaka, and in response to demand from customers and industry for an additional connection between the two countries.
The Hanoi-Tokyo route will operate a daily return flight, starting 11 January 2019 with flight time of more than five hours per leg. The flight departs from Hanoi at 00:55 and arrives at Tokyo at 08:00; the return flight takes off at 09:30 at Tokyo and lands in Hanoi at 14:00 (all at local time).
To celebrate the new service Vietjet is offering 2.5 million tickets with a starting price of zero Thai Baht (excluding tax and processing fees) for, what the company describes as, “three golden days” over 22, 23 and 24 August 2018.
These promotional prices are applicable to tickets on all domestic routes in Vietnam. As well as international routes from Vietnam to other hot spot locations, including Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai in Thailand; Tokyo and Osaka in Japan and Seoul, Busan and Daegu in South Korea. Other destinations include Yangon in Myanmar, Siem Reap in Cambodia, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Singapore.
The flight period for the promotional rate is September 5 2018 to June 30, 2019 (excluding national holidays). Holiday dates to note include 8 November on the Hanoi-Osaka route; December 14 on Ho Chi Minh City-Osaka service and January 11 for flights between Hanoi and Tokyo.
