Thomas Glaser takes the helm of The Westin Jakarta
Glaser is now the general manager of one of the Indonesian capital’s leading five-star hotels
The Westin Jakarta announced the appointment of hospitality sector veteran Thomas Glaser as its new general manager.
In this role, Glaser will oversee all executive and operational aspects of one of Jakarta’s highest five star hotels, ensuring the elevated standards of service and guest experience.

Meet Thomas Glaser
The seasoned industry veteran brings over two decades of extensive hospitality experience to The Westin Jakarta.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the general manager of Hilton Bandung for four years, where he successfully repositioned the hotel, enhanced operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
His previous roles include commercial director and director of operations at Conrad Koh Samui Resort & Residences from 2016 to 2020, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership in both business development and operational excellence.
Glaser’s notable career also includes key positions at renowned hotels such as Le Meridien Grand Hotel Nuremberg, Sheraton Essen Hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok and Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok.
His diverse background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
