- With more than 99% of its students coming from overseas, Montreux, Switzerland, secures the lead in hosting the highest percentage of international students.
- Maastricht has been named the best city in Europe to study abroad, It’s one of the most popular cities with 24,200 searches for universities last year. Not only are half the students here international, but half of the courses are taught in English.
- Cluj-Napoca has been revealed as the European city with the most affordable accommodation for recent graduates, with the cost of a one-bedroom apartment priced at €452. Following in second and third are Budapest and Logrono with prices of €551 and €567 respectively.
- Conversely, Munich stands out as the most expensive city to reside in, with the cost of renting a one-bedroom apartment averaging €1,344.
- Maastricht and Munich have been named the safest European cities, with safety scores of 80/100. In contrast, Barcelona is perceived as the least safe city, with a score of 49/100.
- Spain holds the distinction of being the most popular country for studying abroad, with Valencia, Logrono, Madrid and Barcelona all ranking among the top 10.
