Budgeting can be a challenge, especially on holiday when you’re trying to make the most of your trip. With a fifth of Brits admitting to overspending whilst away and overspending by on average £307, (approx.. USD 391.53) credit card brand Aqua has revealed the top ten UK cities that overspend the most whilst on holiday.

Here are some key findings from the study:
- Taking the crown for the biggest overspenders, Glaswegians overspend by £468 (approx USD 596.95) on average.
- Over a quarter (29%) of people say they are least confident about sticking to a food and drink budget while on holiday.
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ranks as the best budget holiday destination with accommodation coming in at £483(approx USD 616.09), on average.
