The Ritz-Carlton, Amman supports King Hussein Cancer Center
The Ritz-Carlton, Amman held a Pink Afternoon Tea recently, at its exquisite farm-to-table restaurant Soleil, welcoming a group of local women in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Guests at the Pink Afternoon Tea enjoyed an array of sweet and savory treats, all deliciously crafted in line with the ‘pink’ theme of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, while a superb saxophonist provided musical entertainment for the afternoon. Guests also welcomed a speaker from the King Hussein Cancer Center, who highlighted the importance of screenings and early detection in the fight against breast cancer.
During the event, local jewelry designer Hania Al Bitar unveiled her latest jewelry collection, made exclusively to support the cause. Guests were invited to make purchases from the collection, with 20 percent of the proceeds going to the King Hussein Cancer Center. The Ritz-Carlton, Amman also extended its support, selling its signature chocolates and its delicious, world-class coffee beans—roasted on-site at Soleil. A percentage of the proceeds from all items sold by the hotel was donated directly to the King Hussein Cancer Center.
The Ritz-Carlton, Amman remains committed to spreading awareness and raising funds throughout October, as part of its steadfast support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
