The Lounge, Burj Khalifa makes new Guinness World Record
The Lounge, Burj Khalifa has officially been verified by Guinness World Records (GWR) as the ‘highest lounge in a building’ anywhere in the world. At a height of 585.36 metres, The Lounge, Burj Khalifa offers an exclusive retreat experience, towering high at over half a kilometre.
The Guinness World Records certificate was presented by Shaifali Mishra, an official adjudicator at GWR, to Ahmad Al Falasi, executive director of group operations at Emaar Properties, to celebrate the new milestone achieved by Burj Khalifa, which already has several global recognitions.
Among other honours secured by Burj Khalifa include the GWR titles for the ‘tallest building’ in the world, ‘tallest man-made structure on land’, ’the highest outdoor observation deck’ for At the Top.
Spanning levels 152, 153 and 154, The Lounge, Burj Khalifa is a state-of-the-art lounge that serves a fascinating selection of beverages and canapes. The Lounge, Burj Khalifa, also features an outdoor terrace.
There are several experiences awaiting visitors: From 12:30 pm to 4 pm, they can take in magnificent views of the city while indulging in high tea. From 5:30 pm to 7 pm, it is sundowner time with cocktails and canapes, which will then move to an evening cocktail setting from 7:30 pm to midnight, when guests can celebrate with the finest selection of beverages and canapes. The Lounge, Burj Khalifa also features live music daily and hosts international artists and performers.
