GILLIAN MILLAR has been appointed as AccorHotels’ new senior vice president for New Zealand, Fiji & French Polynesia. Ms Millar rejoined AccorHotels in 2012 following its merger with Mirvac, becoming GM of The Sebel & Citigate Albert Park Melbourne. She will now relocate to Auckland.
SUNIL NARANG has become the new general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen. An Indian national, Narang has worked for Four Seasons since 1996, rising from a receptionist in Boston to a hotel manager in Las Vegas. He then returned to Asia with the Four Seasons Singapore.
CELIA LAM has been appointed as Six Senses’ new food & beverage specialist, overseeing the launch of the hotel group’s new healthy eating concept, “Eat With Six Senses”. A Canadian national, Ms Lam is no stranger to Six Senses, having developed a plant-based cooking course at Evason Hua Hin.
ROSEMARY TAM has been announced as Marco Polo’s new group director of human resources. She joins the Hong Kong-based hotel group from Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company, where she served as HR director for two Starwood hotels: W Hong Kong and Le Meridien Cyberport.
MANOON WUTTI has been appointed general manager of the Centara Hotel Hat Yai in southern Thailand. A 30-year industry professional, he joins the property from Khum Phaya Resort & Spa, Centara’s Boutique Collection hotel in Chiang Mai, where he served as resident manager.
SHIGERU TAMURA has been named as the Pan Pacific Singapore’s new director of restaurants, bars & events. He has more than a decade of experience in hotel F&B operations in Singapore, Japan and Korea. Prior to joining Pan Pacific Singapore, he worked at a restaurant in Resorts World Sentosa.
