Really Cool Airlines’ slogan is “We Fly the Future,” and the company aspires to provide a lifestyle product by prioritising customer satisfaction, innovation, safety, and the environment. Initial destinations from Bangkok include Japan, Korea, China, London, France, and Australia, among others. In June 2023, the launch flight routes will be revealed.
Really Cool Airlines is Thailand’s newest startup airline, founded by ex-Nok Air CEO Patee Sarasin. Sarasin stated that Really Cool will announce its flight routes by the end of June 2023 and commence operations by the end of the year.
Sarasin said the airline’s tagline would be “We Fly the Future.” It will be a cross between a luxury and a budget airline. “We are excited and ready to offer Very Cool Airlines to provide passengers with an extraordinary experience,” Sarasin remarked.
Channel News Asia reported Sarasin has joined blockchain pioneers to build “a one-of-a-kind enterprise.” He claimed the airline would be managed by “crypto-native citizens from our Really Awesome Air GameFi.”
Bangkok governor Chadchart Sittipunt attended the event and congratulated the new Thai carrier, adding that airlines play an essential part in developing smart cities.
According to TTG Asia, “Really Cool Airlines’ commitment to providing a unique flying experience would not only enhance the travel experience for passengers but will also contribute to the expansion of Thailand’s resurgent tourism and hospitality industries.”
“We are excited to see what the future holds for Really Cool Airlines and look forward to their debut flight,” Sittipunt added. Very Cool Airlines has shared pictures of a blue and white Airbus A350-900 on their social media accounts, but the airline has not yet announced its road map or fleet plan.
Patee stated that talks are underway to lease two planes by the end of the year and two more at the start of 2024 for the airline.
