Thailand showcases stories on Sydney trams

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is ramping up its promotional efforts in Sydney with a new campaign on the city’s trams.
The so-called “Megasides” on Sydney’s Light Rail carriages invite the city’s residents to “Discover Amazing Stories in Amazing Thailand”. The campaign will for eight weeks commencing 30 January 2017.
“We aim to encourage tourists to discover Thailand’s many amazing stories, through its many and varied unique and memorable local experiences,” explained TAT’s Sydney director, Rujiras Chatchalermkit.
“It is an exciting challenge for us to find new aspects of Thai culture of appeal to Australians and to encourage Australian travellers to continue to choose Thailand as their preferred holiday destination.”
Sydney Light Rail vehicles run 24 hours a day, passing key locations such as the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour and Star City.
