Thai Vietjet to increase flights to/from Surat Thani from October
Further stimulating domestic travel in Thailand, Thai Vietjet announced its increase of flight services between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Surat Thani to a total of 3 round-trip flights daily. From 12th October 2023 onwards, in addition to the current operations, Thai Vietjet will be operating an additional daily flight at early morning between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Surat Thani.
The flights will be operated with A320 and take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete, with following flight schedule:

“The increment of the flights between Bangkok and Surat Thani emphasizes Thai Vietjet’s leading position as a major player in Thailand domestic market. Over the past 4 years, we have remained proactive in developing domestic network and expanding flight capacity to facilitate travel demand, particularly for tourism recovery post-Covid”, said Pinyot Pibulsonggram, Head of Commercial at Thai Vietjet.
This is latest additional domestic service that Thai Vietjet further announces after its confirmation of over 60% flight increase to/from Phuket recently. Currently, Thai Vietjet is the only airline that operates direct flight service between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and Surat Thani International Airport.
The airline commenced the inaugural flight between the two airports in November 2020 and has remained its operational capacity and stability since then, providing a convenient connection on its hospitable flight services.
