Icelandair shows profit of USD 13.7 million in Q2 – Highest since 2016. EBIT of USD 20.9 million, up by USD 19.6 million year-on-year.

Icelandair celebrated the commencement of its service to the Czech capital city, Prague, from Keflavík Airport in Reykjavik. The new seasonal service will operate four times a week.

Today on 8th May Icelandair celebrates five years since it first began flying from Dublin, with the airline’s inaugural flight taking place on 8th May 2018.

Icelandair and Airbus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purchase of 13 Airbus A321XLR aircraft with purchase rights for additional 12 aircraft.
