Chinese business jet operator, Sino Jet, held a VIP launch event for the opening of its new Guangzhou base, signifying its expansion and investment in the Greater Bay Area of China.

The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) recently held a site visit and investment trip to the Philippines. Led by its Philippine chapter, the agenda for this visit were to resolve congestion at NAIA in Manila, and to improve the country’s existing business and general aviation (BA/GA) facilities for long-term use. The longer-term aviation infrastructure development solution being explored by AsBAA is a redistribution plan located north of the capital, either at Clark International Airport or Subic Bay International Airport.
AsBAA applauds Macau government’s policy shift
AsBAA, Asia’s non-profit representative trade body for business and general aviation, took a lead at the Macau Business Aviation Exhibition (MBAE2017) with announcements that there will be significant enhancements made to BA/GA infrastructure at the Macau Airport, along with potential changes to the further development of the leisure industry in Cotai, which will see more attention given to the importance of general aviation in connectivity of the GBA-Greater Bay Area initiative.
