Ta’aktana Labuan Bajo announces bar takeover series

Ta’aktana Labuan Bajo proudly announces the launch of its bar takeover event series at its vibrant overwater destination, Maiga! Bar. 

This series  features collaborations with exceptional mixologists, to take cocktail enthusiasts on a journey through traditional and innovative flavors all set against the stunning backdrop of Labuan Bajo.

Slated to debut on Friday, 16th August, the initial sally is a collaboration with renowned Indonesian bartender Kiki Mora, head mixologist of Union Group.

The event is solid proof that Maiga! Bar at Ta’aktana is a fantastic destination for quality cocktails and authentic guest experiences, where luxury meets tradition through a transformative journey into the heart of Labuan Bajo. 

The series continues with more collaborations with award-winning mixologists in September and November 2024.

During his stint, Mora unveils an exclusive array of meticulously curated signature cocktails at Maiga!, each crafted to reflect his remarkable artistry and innovative vision. 

With over two decades of experience, he is recognized as one of Indonesia’s leading cocktail personalities, known for elevating The Cocktail Club Jakarta to the 12th position in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024. His expertise and creative approach to cocktail crafting promise an evening of exceptional flavors and unforgettable moments.
