Sun Street Hotel, part of the Bespoke Hotel group, is delighted to announce Jake Greenall as the newly appointed General Manager ahead of the hotel’s opening this October.
Jake has worked for several luxury hotels and hospitality companies. He joins from Beaverbrook Hotels where he was the Manager at Beaverbrook Town House on Sloane Street, and House Manager at Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey. Prior to that, he founded a sports hospitality business, True Luxury Sport. He started his career in the sporting world as a professional National Hunt jockey for seven years, riding in the Grand National on two occasions.
Jake brings his knowledge, proven leadership experience, and passion for delivering bespoke customer service and exceptional guest satisfaction to Sun Street Hotel.
Jake comments, “I am delighted to be appointed General Manager at Sun Street Hotel. Sun Street is a hotel with a heartbeat, a place where guests are treated like part of the family, not just a room number. It’s a home away from home for guests, but with the added benefits that a luxury Five-Star hotel can bring. I am passionate about looking after people, and by tailoring each guest’s experience to suit their wants and needs I know Sun Street will have a loyal following. I am very proud to be working with the whole team to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. We can’t wait to open and are excited to welcome everyone, whether it’s for a drink in the bar, dinner in the restaurant, or an overnight stay.”
Sun Street is a brand new five-star hotel on the borderline of Shoreditch and the City of London, only a five-minute walk from Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations. Forming part of One Crown Place, a new mixed-use destination for London, the juxtaposition of traditional Georgian frontage and vibrantly elegant interiors reflects the hotel’s location at the intersection of two contrasting areas of the capital.
The 41 guest rooms, including 7 suites, have been expertly designed by Bowler James Brindley. Guests and non-residents can enjoy the elegant, wood-panelled Restaurant, which has an intimate, discreet feel, while the outside Courtyard is a buzzing space on warmer days for drinks and al fresco dining. There are multiple cosy bar areas and lounges, a light and bright Orangery for breakfast, morning coffee or pre-dinner drinks, a Tasting Room, and, just for guests, a hidden Sun Terrace on the third floor which is perfect for balmy evenings.
The service at Sun Street Hotel will be notably discreet – guests will be greeted by the elegantly-uniformed doorman, and there will be attentive, intuitive five-star service with attention to detail throughout. The style is elegance personified, with extravagantly beautiful décor and finishes. Unlike many central London hotels, Sun Street Hotel offers plenty of intimate spaces, so whether on your own, or with a small group of friends, family or business associates, guests will be able to find a space that’s perfect for the moment.
Opening in October 2022, Sun Street Hotel is looking forward to welcoming guests with their own inimitable fusion of everything that is wonderful about London.
