Strictly enforce COVID-19 protocol: DGCA
The airlines regulator body of India, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked all Indian carriers to strictly enforce Covid-19 protocol. Passengers need to wear face masks during the course of the journey.
DGCA has said that it will be conducting random checks in aircrafts across the country to keep an eye on whether COVID-19 protocol is being enforced or not. If passengers do not comply strict action needs to be taken by the airlines.
This is just to ensure safety protocols so that COVID-19 does not spread.
