Steigenberger Hamburg gets new GM
Eckart Pfannkuchen has now been appointed general manager of the 131-room Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg. In this new capacity, he will be responsible in future for all operational and administrative business areas of the hotel.
Pfannkuchen has a wealth of experience in the upscale hotel sector. He most recently acted as director of the Grand Spa Resort A-Rosa Sylt, and his career has also included stints at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, the Rocco Forte Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, the Chedi Muscat and the Hotel Adlon Kempinski.
Alexander Garbe and Lars Nagel-Heyer, the two managing directors of Golf Hotel Hof Treudelberg said: “He is an impassioned hotelier with many years of experience in the luxury sector and will be a considerable asset to our company.”
The current general manager Michael Fritz will take up a new position within Deutsche Hospitality on 1 September.
