Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading ultra-luxury cruise line, has officially commenced construction on its next-generation ship, Seven Seas Prestige. Last week’s steel-cutting ceremony at the Fincantieri-Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy, marks the beginning of a new era in ultra-luxury, all-inclusive cruising. Unrivalled Space and Luxury Being built by legendary shipbuilder Fincantieri, Seven Seas Prestige will boast one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry, with a gross tonnage of 77,000 and accommodations for up to 850 guests. Future Voyages and Features Set to be delivered in 2026, Seven Seas Prestige will be the first of two Prestige-Class ships, Regent’s first new ship class in 10 years. This follows the highly successful Explorer-Class ships launched in 2016, 2020, and 2023, also built by Fincantieri.
