The Bali International Airshow 2024 announced a prestigious lineup of speakers from the Indonesian government, the global and regional aviation industries, and military sectors for its key discussion programme, the Bali Airshow Special Dialogue.
Key speakers include Indonesian coordinating minister for maritime affairs and investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan; transportation minister Budi Karya Sumadi; marshall of the Armed Forces Mohamad Tonny Harjono, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force; and Airbus Asia-Pacific president Anand Stanley.
The dialogue will be held at the Exhibition Hall, South Apron, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, from 18 to 19 September.
A venue for insightful dialogue
Organised in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), this dialogue will bring together key stakeholders and experts for insightful discussions.
Topics include the challenges and opportunities in adopting sustainable aviation fuels, the path towards sustainable aviation, and strengthening Indonesia’s air defence industry.
Minister Pandjaitan said of the upcoming event: “This airshow is a testament to Indonesia’s commitment to leading the way in sustainable aviation and defence advancements. As we aim to promote Indonesia’s role as a global leader in the aviation industry and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), we are bringing together global experts to share insights and collaborate on shaping the future of these critical sectors.”
The speakers will lead discussions across four dedicated forums, focusing on Indonesia’s aviation potential and its evolving role in global defence.
Each session will delve into various aspects of Indonesia’s aviation sector, highlighting its contributions to the global aviation landscape and fostering partnerships for sustainable and innovative growth.
