Following on from the news in February, when Son Brull revealed its brand new spa, the Mallorcan five-star resort has now announced more new builds, with two new villa suites.
The new accommodations, constructed in the lush setting of the former 12th century monastery’s garden area, follow the same whimsical designs as the rest of the resort with the stone exterior living spaces finished in wood tones and natural colours and textures – capped off with an original piece of art from a local artist.
Each of the villa suites offer a particularly spacious living area with 100sqm of interior floor space surrounded by more than 130sqm of garden plus a private terrace. Inside, the atmosphere of the villas is enhanced with all the latest mod-cons including Bang & Olufsen televisions, Google Chromecast, Nespresso coffee machine and, of course, a fully-stocked minibar.
Both suites each offer two en-suite bedrooms, with the master bedrooms featuring a king-sized bed, double bath and rain shower. The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds, which can be rearranged into a second king-sized bed, as well as a rain shower.
The icing on the cake, however, are the villas’ private swimming pools, which are 5 metres long, 2 metres wide and 1.5 metres deep. Thanks to the sensible depth and proximity of the suites, these are ideal for families with young children – and a great alternative to Son Brull’s main swimming pool, which is only available to guests above the age of 12.
Nightly rates at Son Brull’s new villa suites start from €1,210 (USD 1,370.38), based on two people sharing on a B&B basis and including VAT, and €1,452 based on four people sharing.
