Slovenian Tourist Board pedals in with new cycling routes
The Slovenian Tourist Board has unveiled new Green Wellness Cycling Route. This includes daily stops, leaving plenty of time for relaxation and pampering.
Beginning in Ljubljana, and heading north towards the kamnik-Savinja Alps, the route then flattens through Štajerska to the mountains above the Pannonian Plain. The route draws to a close through unique locations such as Kozjansko Regional Park, known as the Slovenian Venice, and Otočec Castle, in the middle of the Krka River.
The route spans 680km, with 16 individual stages at an average length of 40km each. Over 500 attractions are marked out alongthe way, ensuring guests get to know the true Slovenia.
