SLH adds four luxury boutique hotels to its portfolio

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has added four properties to its hand-picked portfolio of luxury boutique hotels, including three newly-opened hotels.
Known for its diverse collection of independent hotels spanning over 80 countries, SLH has once again added a few more coveted accommodations to its spirited brand portfolio. On the new properties, guests can get a taste of the Mediterranean in the French Riviera, play in one of China’s most beautiful golf courses or experience the serenity of a Balinese-inspired sanctuary in Southern California.
Honor Resort Yun Shun Dali, Dali, China
This luxury retreat on the outskirts of Dali Ancient Town is nestled on the edges of Erhai Lake and features the Cangshan Mountain in the back. It’s a perfect hub for golf enthusiasts which offers a virtual golf simulator and a strategic location close to the nearby Canghai Golf International Community.
All rooms and suites at Honor Resort Yun Shun Dali include private terraces and spacious living areas as well as amenities such as a complimentary mini-bar, a BOSE sound system, a wine and cigar bar and a tea house.
When not playing golf, guests can visit the town’s historic sites, ancient buildings and temples which all date back to the Ming dynasty.
Le Mas Candille, Mougins, France
Secluded within eight acres of terraced Provençal grounds and surrounded by cypress trees and fields of olive groves, Le Mas Candille is a five-star boutique hotel with a Michelin-star restaurant. Originally an 18th-century farmhouse, each of its 38 bedrooms and seven suites have been designed to combine French antiques with contemporary furnishings.
The hotel offers three swimming pools located in Mougins – a medieval village which was once home to Pablo Picasso. Beyond the hotel, highlights include Mougins’ cobbled streets, Grasse’s perfume factories and St Tropez´s beaches.
Monkey Island Estate, Bray on Thames, England
Following a complete renovation by YTL Hotels, Monkey Island Estate is a centuries-old retreat that lies on an island in the River Thames, accessible only by a footbridge or by boat. The island dating back 800 years, has been the rendezvous of monarchs, aristocrats and artists, along with writers, famous performers and Berkshire locals.
Its white bricked Pavilion and Temple buildings make up the main hotel areas of Monkey Island Estate, surrounded by views of the River Thames and manicured gardens. On the property, guests can sip champagne, fine wines and spirits while gazing at the frescoes that date from the 1730s, watching monkeys enjoy country pursuits.
The Pantai Inn, La Jolla, California, USA
Set along the shores of La Jolla coastline with views of the Pacific Ocean, The Pantai Inn brings a touch of Indonesian hospitality to Southern California.
Each of the Inn’s 30 suites and cottages feature Balinese furnishings with hand carved wood and patterned fabrics, rain showers and optional in-room spa services. Most of the accommodations boast fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes and balconies that provide views of the hotel´s coral stoned courtyard with soothing water features and outdoor fire pit.
