As part of Singapore’s goal to reopen its borders safely and to live with COVID-19, the country has expanded its “vaccinated travel lanes” adding eight more countries.
With close to 85% of Singapore’s population fully vaccinated and the successful implementation of the VTL for Brunei Darussalam and Germany, Singapore will extend the VTL to nine more countries in a cautious and step-by-step manner and reclaim and rebuild its status as an international aviation hub with global connectivity.
This means that fully-vaccinated Singaporean citizens and permanent residents departing for Singapore from the following countries may return via the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) to enjoy quarantine-free measures on return to Singapore. Travellers who enter Singapore before the specified date and time will not be eligible for the VTL:
Country/Region of Departure | Effective Date as a VTL Country/Region and for Entry into Singapore |
Brunei Darussalam | 8 September 2021, 2359hrs |
Germany | |
Canada | 18 October 2021, 2359hrs |
Denmark | |
France | |
Italy | |
Netherlands | |
Spain | |
United Kingdom | |
United States | |
Republic of Korea | 14 November 2021, 2359hrs |
Citizens and residents returning to Singapore via the VTL do not need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP), if they adhere to the VTL travel requirements. Travellers who do not adhere to the requirements detailed below may be subject to the prevailing health control measures instead, and/or other enforcement actions.
