SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi launches educational four-day summer camp
The camp will offer fun, educational experiences themed around the ocean and marine life.
SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the region’s first Marine Life Theme Park, is offering young ocean lovers aged between 7 and 12 years old the chance to dive into an adventurous four-day summer camp. The camps aim to ignite curiosity and foster independent exploration, while inspiring children to care about conservation efforts for all species.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s summer camp will offer fun, educational experiences themed around the ocean and marine life. Kids will have the chance to explore the eight immersive realms while learning more about the relationship between humans and the ocean from SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s zoological experts.
The program, custom designed by the SeaWorld Education team has four key themes: communication, play, movement and family. Youngsters will have the chance to participate in exciting interactive games and challenges, perform guided movement exercises inspired by marine animals, enjoy activities such as crafts, sculpting and painting, and most importantly, explore the bonds that unite families in the animal world, and reflect on the importance of family in their own lives.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi General Curator, Rob Yordi said: “We believe in the power of education and hands-on experiences to cultivate a deep appreciation for marine life. Our summer camp offers a unique blend of adventure and learning, providing children with the knowledge and inspiration to become future stewards of our ocean. By interacting with our diverse marine species and understanding the importance of conservation, we hope to instil a lifelong passion for protecting the world beneath the sea.”
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will offer five consecutive summer camp rounds from July 15 to August 15, from Mondays to Thursdays 9:00am – 2:30pm.
