Bakul Pednekar is Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru’s new director of people and culture

Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru announced the appointment of  Bakul Pednekar as its director of people and culture. In this position, Pednekar will lead the People & Culture function at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, shaping employee experiences that inspire excellence and reflect the brand’s legendary service philosophy.  A consummate industry professional well schooled in the Four Seasons’ culture, he brings more than 17 years of rich, cross-continental experience shaped by the brand’s deep-rooted values of empathy, excellence, and service from the heart. Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai offers omakase dining for the holidays

As part of this year’s holiday celebration, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai presents an exclusive four-hands omakase experience at its signature Japanese restaurant, NAYUU.  From 25 to 31 December, chef Alex Moranda of NAYUU will join forces with visiting chef Quynh Brown of The Dandy Collection in Singapore to curate an exemplary menu that promises to delight discerning palates.  The intimate omakase counter at NAYUU will play host to this rare partnership, inviting diners to witness two master chefs at the peak of their craft. The Nam Hai’s general manager Marcel Oostenbrink said of this culinary collaboration: “We are thrilled to bring together two exceptional talents who share a passion for pushing boundaries while respecting culinary traditions. This special collaboration is set to take our guests on a unique journey of discovery this festive season.” Dinner and a show Framed by striking views of the Central Vietnamese coast, NAYUU puts culinary artistry centre stage, merging the liveliness of yakiniku, Japan’s famed grilled meat cuisine, with the theatre of omakase, a face-to-face dining experience that leaves the details “up to the chefs.” Taking their seats at the counter, guests are invited to surrender to Morada and Brown’s expertise and creativity.  Each dish is freshly prepared and personally presented by the culinary maestros themselves, immersing diners in a refined and interactive dialogue of tastes, textures and stories. The 14-course omakase menu, priced at VND 6,800,000 nett, is an evolving showcase of seasonal ingredients, expertly selected and crafted into dishes that are as visually stunning as they are flavourful.  Each evening offers two seating options: 5:30 to 7:30 pm and 8:00 to 10:00 pm. Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa successfully concludes Project 100 Coconut Trees

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa marked the successful completion of Project 100 Coconut Trees. This unique initiative has transformed key areas of the Resort with 100 newly planted coconut trees, enriching its natural beauty whilst strengthening its sustainability efforts under the Four Seasons For Good program. The newly planted coconut trees which include the vibrant Chowghat Orange Dwarf, resilient Malayan Green Dwarf, and high-yielding Gangabondam Hybrid are now thriving in locations such as Sunset Beach, Sunrise Beach, Reef Island, The Island Spa, and the back-of-house staff area.  Each tree is expected to absorb up to 25 kilogrammes of CO2 annually, helping to reduce the Resort’s carbon emissions by an additional of approximately 2,500 kilograms per year. In addition, these trees will provide natural shade, cooling effects, and enhanced privacy for guests visiting the island. According to the Resort’s general manager Didier Jardin: "Project 100 Coconut Trees is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating a harmonious environment for both our guests and the planet. The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore presents an exquisite luncheon that celebrates the art of Michelin excellence on 24 and 25 September as Michelin-starred chef Chan Yan Tak takes over its kitchens. The first Chinese chef to earn three Michelin stars, Chan is one of the luminaries of Hong Kong’s vibrant culinary scene and is the executive chef at Lung King Heen at the Four Seasons Hong Kong.  He is best known for crafting elegant and innovative dishes featuring the finest ingredients and impeccable techniques. That said, Chan’s menu features a spread of delicacies, including crispy puff with mushrooms, roast duck with golden ossetra caviar, wok-fried Australian wagyu beef, as well as simmered carabinero prawns in supreme soup. This menu is only available between 11.30am and 2.30pm on the aforementioned dates.
