The Westin Surabaya presents a fun-filled weekend with DreamWorks’ Trolls
For the first-time ever in Indonesia, Trolls from DreamWorks came for a weekend special meet and greet at The Westin Surabaya. “Trolls Colorful Weekend" is ready to excite guests on the upcoming Easter and Idul Fitri holidays at The Westin Surabaya. Set to occur every weekend, from 8 to 30 April, The Westin Surabaya becomes the first hotel in Indonesia to bring DreamWorks' Trolls, a 3D musical animation, to the property. The weekend program highlights family-friendly attractions through mouth-watering culinary presentations in a special afternoon tea and brunch. Voyager of the Seas returns to Singapore in time for the Indian holidays
Voyager of the Seas, docked in Sydney Royal Caribbean International (RCI) has announced the return of Voyager of the Seas to Singapore to serve its longest-running programme yet. Riding the waves of cruise holidays’ growing popularity, the ship’s return couldn’t have come at a better moment. Tirun, the exclusive Indian representative of Royal Caribbean International has announced the comeback of one of the most innovative cruise ships in Southeast Asia, the Voyager of the Seas. From April 2018 to June 2019, the ship will be offering as many as 90 trips (with itineraries of 3 to 7 nights) from Singapore to popular regional destinations. It will be the ship's longest-running Southeast Asian programme to date. Mariner Of The Seas’ Last Asian Cruise
Mariner of the Seas,Royal Caribbean International’s biggest cruise ship in Asia, returned to Singapore this weekend before embarking on her longest and final season. Operating out of Asia since 2013, the veteran vessel is offering 56 Southeast Asian cruise of 3 to 9 nights from Singapore for its her final tour, up from 41 sailings last season – making it the highest number of trips for this ship ever. The 15‐deck, 3,807‐guest Mariner of the Seas comes with a wide range of innovative activities and entertainment facilities , such as the Royal Promenade – a boulevard of duty‐free shops, ice‐skating rink and full‐sized sports court with a rock‐climbing wall. In addition, there is a three‐tier theatre and DreamWorks Entertainment. which feature ‘celebrity’ characters like Shrek and Fiona of “Shrek” and Po of “Kung FuPanda” during parades, character breakfasts and photo opportunities. The itineraries scheduled for this season are: • 3‐night cruise to Penang/Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang). • 4‐night cruise to Penang/Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) and Phuket. • 5‐night cruise to Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Penang and Phuket. • 7‐night cruise to Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Penang, Langkawi and Phuket (with an overnight). • 7‐night cruise to Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My) and Bangkok (with an overnight). The Mariner of the Seas is followed by the 4,905‐guest Ovation of the Seas, Asia’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship, which will be back for a 5‐night cruise from Singapore to Penang and Phuket on April 9 next year, and a 12‐night one‐way cruise to Tianjin. April to June 2018 will be covered by the 4,269‐guest Voyager of the Seas with 18 sailings of 3‐ to 9‐night cruises from Singapore

Dubai’s newest Wyndham hotels appoint executive committee members
Dubai newcomers Wyndham Dubai Marina and TRYP by Wyndham Dubai, both part of hospitality giant Wyndham Hotel Group, today announced the creation of a joint executive committee charged with managing both hotels and their collective 1,100 guest rooms. Spearheading the team is hotel industry veteran Rogier M. Hurkmans as cluster general manager, responsible for leading daily operations and overseeing more than 400 hotel associates. Wyndham Dubai Marina. Hurkmans has more than 20 years of experience serving global hotel chains including InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton, Steigenberger, Swissôtel and FRHI Hotels & Resorts in leadership and management roles including Managing Director and General Manager. Last year, he joined Wyndham Dubai Marina, the first Wyndham Hotels and Resorts location in the UAE, as general manager overseeing the opening of the 486-room upscale hotel. “Wyndham Hotel Group’s expansion throughout the UAE has brought the first Wyndham and TRYP by Wyndham hotels to Dubai, offering the utmost in quality accommodations and hospitable service for travelers visiting this dynamic city,” said Hurkmans. “We’ve assembled a team of dedicated, service-oriented leaders who will ensure the hotels’ success while delivering great experiences to all guests who stay with us at both locations.” Other executive committee appointments include: Jo-Ella Moore and Tarek E. Lola Banjo, cluster director of marketing and communications: Banjo will leverage her nine years of digital marketing experience to spearhead all marketing campaigns and storytelling efforts for both hotels. Esmeralda Van Wyk, cluster director of restaurants & bars: Van Wyk will be responsible for the strategic growth and development of all F&B outlets as well as ensure that they all stay true to their concepts. Shabri Bali, cluster director of human resources: Bali will oversee all human resources functions including recruiting new associates, known as TRYPsters, for the soon-to-open TRYP by Wyndham Dubai. Prakash Nakarmi, cluster director of engineering: Nakarmi, a nearly 20-year industry veteran, will look after the hotels’ engineering-related requirements and operations. Tarek Rahli, cluster director of revenue: Rahli will be responsible for maximizing revenue and overseeing the cluster reservations team at both hotels. Ajai Gupta, cluster director of IT: Gupta will lead information technology operations and teams at both hotels. TRYP by Wyndham Dubai is set to open this summer with 650 hotel rooms including 25 of the brand’s signature fitness rooms, which boast exercise equipment for private workouts. The hotel will also offer an inviting, social lobby known as Plaza Central where guests can eat and drink, work, relax, or meet. Other facilities include a swimming pool, fitness centre, and meeting space. Wyndham Dubai Marina offers 486 spacious guestrooms and suites with breath-taking views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina. Guests and residents alike have four dining outlets, meeting and event space, wellness facilities including DreamWorks Spa, a gym and an outdoor pool. Lego hotel to open at Dubai Parks and Resorts
Legolabd Dubai DXB Entertainments and Merlin Entertainments Group are bringing the first Legoland Hotel to the Middle East. The ultimate family-fun hotel will open at Dubai Parks and Resorts, the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park destination. The hotel will be located adjacent to the existing Legoland Dubai theme park. The first Legoland Hotel in the Middle East and the seventh to open worldwide will completely immerse guests in the creative world of Lego as it’s designed to bring children’s imaginations to life. Every room will have Lego models and theming for guests to continue their Legoland Park adventure into the evening. From the disco elevator to the Castle Play Area, Legoland designers have integrated Lego storylines for every guest to create a memorable adventure. A testament to the increasing popularity of Dubai as a family leisure destination, the Legoland Dubai Hotel will be the second hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts, offering a convenient base for families to stay and enjoy several days’ worth of amazing entertainment, all within walking distance of the Park.
