The South East Asia Hotel Investor’s Summit (SEAHIS) is back in its sixth year breaking last year’s records. The event saw 328 delegates attending the two-day conference at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok, Thailand. 45% of the attendees are hotel investors and operators, 10% are from hotel management companies, 10% are from tech or data companies.
In his welcome speech, Simon Allison, Chairman and CEO of Hoftel Asia Ltd, the organizer of SEAHIS, said that the industry is bouncing back from the COVID-19 pandemic. “With a record 328 delegates (38 more attendees than last year), we have good support from the industry with a record number of sponsors ranging from owners to operators, lawyers and consultants. A very broad spectrum and we have managed to achieve a truly regional event once more.”
Allison also asked participants to offer a minute of silence for Ukraine.
106 speakers will also speak at the two-day event. The first day event held thought-provoking panel discussions such as where will you allocate your USD 100 million and how hotel owners can get the “best in class” agreements. Attendees also heard pitches from new tech companies.
SEAHIS is a valuable event for anyone involved in the hotel industry in Southeast Asia. The conference provides an opportunity to learn about the latest trends, network with industry leaders, and explore investment opportunities.
SEAHIS 2023 is taking place on 26-27 June 2023 at Westin Grande Sukhumvit.
