SaffronStays hits century with 100 unique homes
India’s network of private vacation homes, SaffronStays has announced its milestone of curating an exclusive club of 100 hand-picked villas across India. SaffronStays was launched in 2015 with the idea of changing the way India travels with fully serviced and managed villas in drive-to destinations from top metros. Today, the platform has a collection of 100 unique homes that include heritage and bespoke properties that have a story to tell across 40 exotic destinations. The start-up has successfully hosted 50,000+ guests across Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
This announcement comes close on the heels of their last milestone of forging a partnership with Auto Hangar, India’s leading dealership for luxury passenger cars of Mercedes-Benz to offer its holiday homes to 5000 patron-families at the dealership.
“Our members and clients can enjoy the confidence of a hotel in the comfort of their home.”
Private vacation villas are quickly becoming the first choice for travellers across the world, with changing lifestyles and changing travel preferences. According to Devendra Parulekar, founder, SaffronStays, the hospitality industry is grappling with the true definition of luxury. Gone are the times when marble-laid rooms and gold-plated bathrooms were in demand. “Today, those who have come into money understand that the true definition of luxury is the luxury of privacy, certainty and family time. Our members and clients can enjoy the confidence of a hotel in the comfort of their home,” he added.
