The airline had previously served these routes, with its last flight to Mumbai departing on September 10, 2014, and services to Delhi concluding on October 31, 2024. Since then, the demand and market dynamics have shifted, and Royal Jordanian is now eager to bring back these popular connections. This move comes as part of the airline’s strategy to strengthen its global network and meet the rising demand for travel between India and the Middle East.
India is a key market for Royal Jordanian, with over 75,000 passengers traveling between the two countries in 2023. By reintroducing flights to Mumbai and Delhi, the airline hopes to offer passengers more travel options, boosting both business and leisure tourism.
