Riviera Travel recently invited 21 independent travel agents to Germany to visit the new all-suite ship, the MS Emily Brontë.
Agents travelled to Dusseldorf from airports across the UK and were transferred to Cologne to experience the ship.
Following their arrival, a drinks reception was held in the Panoramic Lounge followed by a tour of the ship and a three-course lunch in the fine-dining restaurant.
The five-star ship accommodates up to 169 passengers with 44 in-house trained crew members, giving passengers space and quality service throughout their holiday.
“I see ship visits as an essential part of increasing my knowledge, to help my customers choose the right ship for them,” said Ian Warren, GoCruise. “Visiting the MS Emily Brontë recently was time well spent as I found that the quality of the accommodation, public rooms and food to be far better than Riviera Travel’s prices might imply, and I can recommend her without hesitation”.
“The Emily Brontë was breath taking, with a calming soothing environment. The staff and service were exceptional, going above and beyond to make you feel welcome,” said Paula Stockton, River Cruise Product Executive, Hays Travel.
“We are delighted our agents could join us in Cologne to experience the brand new MS Emily Brontë for themselves,” said Joseph Grimley, Head of Agency Sales. “It’s so important for our agents to get a first-hand experience of our ships, cruises and tour offerings, after all, they have played a very important part in our significant European expansion in the last few years. Our aim was to give them a special preview of our new ship that was not only insightful to help them to sell the product to their clients, but a fun and enjoyable experience to recognise the great work they do!”
