Ritz-Carlton Luxury Yacht “Evrima” To Set Sail

The long-awaited Evrima of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will officially begin operations this week, with the first guests welcomed on board in Barcelona on Saturday.
The 298-passenger yacht was initially scheduled to debut in June 2020; however, it was delayed owing to severe building delays at its Spanish shipyard, followed by several deferrals due to the subsequent onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
CEO Douglas Prothero stated that the line’s staff would “create history as we reinvent the ultra-luxury experience at sea,” telling Bloomberg that the ship was fully booked by Ritz-Carlton enthusiasts, many of whom had never cruised before.
Calls to the Greek Isles, Balearic Islands, and French Riviera are among the Mediterranean destinations. The routes will feature 14 ports, including Seville, Spain; Sardinia, Italy; Syros, Greece; Trogir, Croatia, and others, and overnights in Casablanca, Morocco; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Portofino, Italy, among others.
Most cruises last seven to eleven nights. Throughout the tour, passengers enjoy private, yacht-style itineraries and a slow sailing pace, immersing themselves in the region’s rich cultures, local cuisines, and natural beauty.
