Reopening of Blenheim Palace Orangery celebrated at successful event in partnership with Nyetimber
Oxford-based UNESCO World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace, recently celebrated the reopening of its renowned Orangery at a showcase event in partnership with Nyetimber, England’s finest sparkling wine.
Not only did the event mark the reopening of the 18th Century Orangery following vital £2 million restoration works and a complete interior transformation but was also designed to showcase the space as an exquisite and unique wedding and corporate venue for hire.
The showcase hosted by the Blenheim Palace Hospitality team in association with Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine was supported by Fabulous Flowers and Bespoke Events London and welcomed over 100 industry events professionals.
Minnie Fledderus-Diaconu, Senior Sales Manager at Blenheim Palace said: “The grand reopening of The Orangery is a testament to Blenheim’s unwavering dedication and passion to maintain Britain’s Greatest Palace. Our wedding and corporate showcase event was a huge success, and it was great to highlight the endless possibilities of this exquisite space.
We’re also incredibly proud to announce that Nyetimber is our official sparkling wine partner. Their award-winning English Sparkling Wines compliments the elegance of The Orangery perfectly, so this was the ideal occasion to raise a toast to new beginnings and a sparkling partnership!”
Louisa Corben, Marketing Consultant at Nyetimber said: “Nyetimber are thrilled to be partners with breathtaking Blenheim Palace. England’s finest sparkling wine, and Blenheim, a jewel in the Oxfordshire countryside and one of, if not the, most prestigious Palaces in England, steeped in history and heritage; a match made in heaven! Here’s to many sparkling moments together”.
As part of the partnership, Nyetimber is served across the Palace and at various activations and events including Blenheim’s first ever Wedding Showcase held last week in The Orangery, which provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable weddings and celebrations.
The Orangery which offers afternoon teas, Sunday roasts, corporate, weddings and private dinners, in the most unique setting has undergone a complete makeover so guests can expect a whole new dining experience. With its own private bar and terrace, stunning chandeliers and a harmonious blend of contemporary chic with timeless charm is the perfect venue.
The impressive venue and dining experience features locally sourced ingredients, using fresh fruits and vegetables from the Palace’s own kitchen garden.
